The Snaphouse™ furniture collection was designed with function and mobility in mind. The concept behind the Snaphouse collection was to create a simple but attractive collection of furniture that could be customized by individuals or companies to fit their individual needs. The original collection has two chairs and a mid-height table. each come with an instruction booklet and lables. This first collection was built as a single unit and the enitre collection fits into the table top for easy transportation.
For the upcoming April 2010 Issue, Print Magazine is focusing on a global issue for the topic of the cover. The cover gives a simple visual reference to how different things can get in the way of our fresh water supply. The poster was designed to go along with the cover and draw attention to the April 2010 Issue.
The intent of this project was to create a new and interesting way of advertising or using print materials. So taking print one more step, i designed a toy figure that could be printed out and folded to make the character. I designed the character in a way that anyone could download the blank figure and design it to their own liking and then print it out, fold it up and play. Along with the blank model i designed and created, i also designed three examples of what the toy characters could look like.
